| BIG HINT: Do not buy things for your “man/wife” that you will complain about later, i.e. Don’t buy him/her golf equipment and then complain about him playing golf, don’t buy him tools if he is a klutz and you think he will now be able to fix things, he won’t! Don’t buy him/her a laptop if he/she is a computer illiterate and expect him to now do the household finances, he/she won’t. Think about his/her interests that he/she loves to do and you don’t mind him/her doing or love to see him/her do. If she/he cooks, buy her/him cooking stuff. If she/he loves to garden, buy her/him gardening stuff. If she/he loves wine, buy her/him some special bottles. But only if you won’t be upset when she/he does this stuff. Been there done that! |
